Relationships
Parents and Children:
The first person one meets when they are born is their mother, the person who bore the pain to bring you into this world. The second person one sees is their father who is their mother's constant source of strength. As one grows up these two pillars of the child's life nourish and mould the child.
Having seen this tree grow from being a mere seed they impart it all the lessons they've themselves learnt. However this period is where the child is still learning to fly and hence they are pinned to their parents. The transformation happens when this creature takes flight leaving it's nest that it results in emotional detachment quite often as compared to older times. The foundation which had been built so strongly begins facing mild tremors.
Parents, having seen this individual since birth begin missing his presence and it results in a void creation in their life. They do learn the trick of moving on in life however always have a constant yearning of a glimpse of their children who become so busy themselves exploring new avenues that they begin neglecting the void they've left behind. With no one to blame for this as its the trend of life, both continue living, suppressing their emotions putting on a smiling face.
The next transformation involves the phase where the child begins earning, giving them a feeling of authority over all their decisions. They dislike being questioned and this results in the next subtle adjustment of lifestyle the parents are expected to make. Many a times because children feel they are smarter than their parents they reflect arrogance and pride in their behaviour forgetting the essence of life:
" You were brought into this world by your mother, you were taught to walk by your father, you were given education by a teacher, you were mentored by a boss.
And in the end also you are taken to be buried on four shoulders itself: So what in this world is yours, for which you should have pride on?"
Materialistic possessions doesn't give anyone superiority in a relationship, these are those things which you leave behind on Earth itself. What one takes is memories and often we sacrifice these memories for trivial matters of ' I am right or I own this'. Occasionally children break these precious bonds with their parents only due to small misunderstandings.
They've got to realize that:
"In this BOOK OF LIFE where each page is an instance, one page shouldn't be affecting the further blank pages still to be written, adversely. Instead we should just tear apart that one page and learn to write the future pages !"
Children should always learn to respect their parents and try to understand them. They might not be always right but just so that you can be proved right, you don't want to be reminiscing forever that you wish you had spoken to them in their final days. One must remember that parents had sacrificed their life in nurturing their future so it's their duty too to be at their side when they need them the most.

"Walk with respect and care even on fallen, shriveled leaves because once upon a time on a hot, sunny day it was these leaves only which
had provided you shade."
